Cancelling a Trip before Driver is on route to the rider:

  1. Click the Blue Cancel Button
  2. Confirm cancellation:  Confirm or Cancel

Note: Cancellation charge may apply

Cancellation during an ongoing Trip:

  1. Please Confirm Cancellation.
  2. Text Box “Write a short message on why you are cancelling an Ongoing Trip.”

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel before or after Driver is on-route to you and cancellation charges may apply.
  • Cancel an Ongoing Trip and Full Trip Payment will be charged pending dispute raised on cancellation.
  • Once a trip has started, you can end it by notifying your driver that you’d like to be dropped off. The driver will end the trip for you.

Before an ongoing Trip can be cancelled, you will need to enter a reason for your cancellation. This helps prevent accidental cancellation of an ongoing trip. Should you however cancel your ongoing trip accidentally, while the Taxi driver / Taxi Owner is en route to your destination, the  Taxi driver / Taxi Owner will also get the notification.  Rebook your trip, the driver will be the closest to you and he/she will likely be able to confirm and continue the journey.

 

CANCELLATION FEES

The Fees produces an active response from the Drivers and a reasonable action from riders. Cancellation Fees are charged if or when you:

  1. Cancel before Driver is on-route to you: Refund
  2. Cancel after Driver is on-route to you: Cancellation charge applies
    1. if you cancel a trip after a Driver is on route to you, the cancellation fees pay the Taxi driver / Taxi Owner for the time and effort they spend getting to your location.
    2. Drivers may also cancel a Trip request if they have waited too long at the pickup location. In this case, the same charge may apply.
  3. Cancel an Ongoing Trip = Full Trip Payment will be charged pending an investigation into reasons for cancellation and refund claim.
    1. Drivers may also cancel an Ongoing Trip if you are found to be malicious or unruly. In such a scenario, the same charge may apply.
